2023-08-01 New 1-5 and 6-10 day NBM composite maps are now available on SV starting with the 18z NBM cycle. See example of 6-10 day linked here.
2023-07-26 Starting Thursday, July 27, with the 12z cycle, the solar generation tables on SV (https://www.stormvistawxmodels.com/sv/solargen/2023072600z/ercot)  will shift (like the wind last week) to percentages of normal instead of percentage of max capacity. New, present-value 10-year climatology for solar generation is being added to both the SV and CWG API for reference. And a new line will be available on the line charts to show this climatology as well.
2023-07-18 Starting tomorrow with the 12z cycle, the wind generation charts on SV (like this one: https://www.stormvistawxmodels.com/sv/windgen/2023071800z/ercot) will be colorized based on percent of the 10-year normal (present-value adjusted) instead of max capacity. This will offer a more realistic seasonal assessment of the forecast situation.
2023-07-13 New ERCOT/PJM/CAISO prior day, bal-day, and day ahead renewable and temperature combined line charts (with live-updating actuals) offer a way to track both factors together. See more here and also found under the Features-Renewables menu option: https://www.stormvistawxmodels.com/sv/renewables-balday
